Tomintoul there is a variety of local businesses to enjoy such as:

-Sampling whisky at the World Famous Whisky Castle with over 500 whiskies, some being limited edition and unique, with a shop of hand selected Scottish items owned by Scott and Sam

-Deli and handmade items at A'anside Studios. Fresh produce and large variety of Border Biscuits and handmade jewellery and Rizza's ice cream from Huntly in the summer owned by Barry and Jacqui Horning

-Our villiage also has a Local Post office with general shop for all you're needs owned by Caroline and Cathal Breen

-Down the village is also Tomintoul Art Gallery featuring many works from local artists and also offers a picture framing service.

Tomintoul also has a few short local walks as well as wildlife glore for nature fans

Throughout the year is also pheasent/grouse hunting as well as stag and deer

-The Clockhouse resturant which is opened seasonally cooks all meals from fresh owned by Drew and Irene

-Glen Avon Hotel which serves standard bar food owned by Mark and Shona

-For a Scottish and Canadian twist the Balfour manor offers Scottish and Canadian style food owned by Carole and Patrick Balfour
